We don’t know about you, but we’re prone to flipping through interiors magazines and gasping at the prices quoted for furniture not dipped in 24-karat gold. We’ve got style, but not $4k to drop on a side chair—and we’re guessing you’re the same. So we’ve scoured auctions and estates for some fabulous furniture from periods ranging from Victorian to deco to mid-century modern to the swingin’ seventies. We select furniture for its intriguing shape, comfort, and sometimes even history. Then we update it with a little stain or paint or fabric (especially fabric) and present it to you: a one-of-a-kind piece that will sit center stage in any room of your house.
